Terms of Use

These terms govern Mealumo, provided by IBRDOS Co., Ltd. (“we”).

1. Service and eligibility

Mealumo provides meal recording, photo-based nutrition estimates, recommendations, editing, and data export. It is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you are still a minor under local law, obtain any legally required guardian consent. Do not use another person’s email, photos, or health information without authority.

Accounts are connected through email verification. Use an email you can access and protect verification codes and credentials. AI features require the applicable health-data, AI-processing and overseas-transfer choices. Our Privacy Policy describes the processing.

2. Photo records and nutrition information

Photo analysis assumes you consumed the food visible in the image. AI estimates food types, portions and 25 nutrient fields, creating a record without another confirmation step. You can edit the food, portions, meal time and values. Hidden ingredients and preparation methods can make estimates differ from the actual meal.

The app distinguishes estimates, readable packaging labels, observed public sources, calculated values, and missing information. Missing information does not mean zero or a deficiency. Local menus, prices, ingredients and nutrition may differ at the seller. Recommendations become consumed-meal records only when you choose to add them as eaten.

Mealumo is not a medical service and does not diagnose or treat disease, determine deficiencies, or guarantee allergy safety. General adult reference values may be unsuitable during pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness, or other special nutritional circumstances. Use qualified professional advice and actual product or seller information for consequential health and allergy decisions.

3. Free access and Pro

Limits reset according to UTC dates and calendar months, independently of the subscription billing date. Check the next reset time displayed in the app. Unused allowances do not roll over.

Failed jobs restore their feature allowance. A separate abuse-prevention limit permits 24 AI attempts per UTC day for free accounts and 400 for Pro; this attempt allowance is not refunded. Local-brand recommendations reserve two AI requests. A non-food result does not offer a retry of the same job. Reasonable request limits may also protect the service.

Reaching a limit or letting Pro expire does not remove access to viewing, editing, deleting, copying, and exporting existing records. Pro does not guarantee specific analysis accuracy, uninterrupted processing, or medical outcomes.

4. Prices, payment, and renewal

Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription. The App Store or Google Play purchase screen specifies the actual price, currency, taxes, billing period and applicable offer. Review those details before approving a purchase.

The selected store account is charged, and billing repeats under the store’s subscription conditions unless renewal is canceled. Manage renewal through that store. Follow its displayed deadline for preventing the next charge. Access ordinarily continues for the paid period after cancellation, subject to refunds, revocation and payment status.

Purchases are linked to the verified Mealumo account. Restoration requires the same store account and original Mealumo account. A purchase cannot be assigned to multiple Mealumo accounts. 5. Withdrawal, refunds, and billing support

Applicable consumer law and the purchase store’s procedures govern withdrawal and refunds. Korean consumer law generally provides a seven-day withdrawal period from its statutory starting point, subject to legally qualified exceptions for digital content whose supply has begun. Rights concerning separable undelivered content, defects, or delivery that differs from the contract remain protected. These terms do not waive mandatory consumer rights. See Article 17 of the Korean E-Commerce Act.

Use Apple’s refund process, Google Play’s refund information, or contact dev@ibrdos.com. Canceling future renewal and requesting a refund for an earlier payment are separate actions. We investigate issues for which we are legally responsible and provide the required remedy.

6. Content, restrictions, and service changes

You retain your rights in submitted photos and records. We process them only as needed for the service, storage, analysis, security and legal duties. Software, design and branding belong to us or the relevant rights holders.

Do not submit unlawful or infringing material, malicious requests, or attempts to bypass authentication or usage limits. Restrictions may be proportionate to conduct threatening the service. Except where urgent security action is necessary, we explain the reason and provide a contact for questions or objections.

Networks, stores and external AI providers can cause delays or failures. We announce significant planned changes or discontinuation in the app or support pages and provide legally required export, refund or other arrangements. These terms do not exclude liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding, including responsibility for our intentional or negligent misconduct.

7. Deletion, changes to terms, and disputes

Request deletion through the app’s account screen or the account-deletion page. Export records you need and check your subscription first. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and retained information.

Changes to these terms and their effective date will be announced before they apply. Material adverse changes receive appropriate advance notice and any consent required by law. If you disagree, you may stop using the service and request deletion; remaining paid access is handled under applicable law and purchase conditions.

South Korean law governs, without removing mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Courts and dispute procedures are determined by applicable law; these terms do not restrict mandatory access to a competent court.
