Split a group's expenses
- Name a group, choose its currency and add people. You can start with an example group to explore the flow.
- Add a title, amount and one payer for each expense. Select only the people sharing that cost. Different people can participate in each round.
- Review what each person paid and owes, then see who should pay whom.
- Share an image or text through the system share sheet. Short receipts fit one image. Long receipts are divided into pages; use Previous/Next to select the current page for image sharing. Text sharing includes the complete breakdown at once.
The app calculates amounts. It does not execute or verify transfers or payments and does not connect to financial accounts.
Calculation rules and limits

Each expense is divided equally among its selected participants. Remaining minor units are assigned in their order in the group. For example, splitting USD 10.00 among three people assigns USD 3.34 to the first person and USD 3.33 to each of the others. The payer does not have to share that expense.
Names differing only in surrounding spaces, letter case or equivalent character forms are treated as duplicates. New people are appended to the group; there is no reorder control. A person used as an expense payer or participant can be removed after those references are edited or deleted.
Back up and restore
Exporting a JSON backup in Settings puts all groups in one file. Language and appearance preferences are excluded. The file includes participant names and amounts and has no password or additional encryption.
Choose a Semgyeol backup file and confirm restoration to replace all current groups with its contents. Lists are not merged. Files with invalid structure, references, amounts or size are not stored. You can export a backup before replacement to preserve the current groups.
To retain shared content, choose a storage location in the share sheet. The app does not request photo-saving permission. Android automatic app backup is disabled; iOS system backups follow your device settings. Records cannot be recovered from Company servers after uninstalling the app.
Settings and troubleshooting
Choose System, Korean, English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese, German or French for language, and System, Light or Dark for appearance. Group records work without an internet connection; advertising and external sharing services may use the network.
If sharing does not open, check whether your device has an available sharing destination. If a very long group's image exceeds the device's processing capacity, text sharing or a JSON backup can export the full records. A destination app may resize an image and affect its readability.
Ads privacy is available in Settings. Where regional requirements apply, you can reopen your choices. Group calculations remain available when ads do not load or a privacy choice is declined.
