Fit a photo to a size limit

1. Select one image from Photos or Files. You can also try the included sample photo.
2. Choose 500KB, 1MB or enter a custom target.
3. Convert and check the actual file size and pixel dimensions.
4. Compare the original and result, then save to Photos or share.

Conversion happens on your device without an account. Photos stored on the device can be converted offline. Downloading a cloud-only photo and serving ads may use a network connection.

Target sizes and input limits

Targets range from 100KB to 20MB. The app uses 1KB = 1,000 bytes and 1MB = 1,000,000 bytes. A 500KB target means a result of no more than 500,000 bytes; 1MB means no more than 1,000,000 bytes.

You can select JPEG, PNG, and HEIC or HEIF photos that your device can decode. Input is limited to one image of up to 50MB and 32 million pixels, with no side longer than 20,000 pixels. Processing resolution is limited to 12 million pixels. Files the device cannot decode, damaged files and photos exceeding those limits cannot be converted. PDF, video and batch conversion are not provided.

Results are JPEG files. The app checks the actual byte count against your chosen limit. Smaller targets can reduce quality or pixel dimensions further. Check important text and detail before using a result.

When a result is larger than the original

The app makes a new JPEG even when the original is already below your target. Depending on the source format and its existing compression, the result may be larger than the original. The result still stays within your selected limit. The original file is kept unchanged.

HDR, Live Photo motion and transparency are not preserved. Check the result for changes in color and background. The app is not provided as a security tool that removes all photo information.

Compare at the same zoom

Switch between the original and result in the comparison view. They use the same zoom level and position so you can check matching text and edges. Use 1×, 2× or 4× zoom and drag to inspect a region.

Meeting the file-size limit does not guarantee acceptance by a particular recipient. Also check requirements for JPEG support, minimum pixel dimensions, photo content and readability. Another app may recompress a shared result and change its final size.

Save and share

Saving adds a new result file to your photo library without overwriting or deleting the original. If you decline permission to add photos, change it in operating-system settings or use Share to save the file.

Temporary working photos and results are cleaned up when you choose another photo or return home. An Android sharing copy may remain until the next app start. Previous cache files are cleaned up on restart. Save or share results you want to keep. Julpik does not delete copies already saved to Photos, Files or external services. There is no Company server backup or conversion history.

Language and appearance

Settings provides device language or Korean, English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese, German or French, and device, light or dark appearance. Language, appearance and the recent target size are saved on your device.

Advertising privacy

Julpik includes Google AdMob banners below the result screen. Photo features remain available if an ad cannot be requested or a network issue prevents an ad from loading. A privacy choice form may appear depending on your region and applicable requirements. Where applicable, use advertising privacy in Settings to review or change your choices.

Report a problem

Email dev@ibrdos.com with your device model, OS version, app version, input image format, file size, pixel dimensions, chosen target and steps that led to the issue. Photos and results are not automatically attached. Do not send identity documents, passwords, payment details or other sensitive materials.
