Privacy policy

IBRDOS Co., Ltd. ((주)아이비알도스, the “Company”) explains how Julpik handles information. Contact dev@ibrdos.com for privacy questions and rights requests.
1. Photos are processed on your device
Julpik makes a JPEG from one photo within your chosen file-size limit. It has no account creation or sign-in and does not upload selected photos to a Company application server. The Company cannot remotely view or recover your device-local photos or results.
The app reads the image, file name, type, size and pixel dimensions of the photo you choose through the system photo or file picker. It uses this information to convert the photo, check its size and compare images on screen. It does not analyze your entire photo library or automatically process other photos. You can also use the sample photo included in the app.
Language, appearance and your recent target size are saved on the device for your next session. The app does not keep a conversion history or a Company server library of selected photos and results.
2. Temporary files, saving and sharing
A working copy of the selected image and conversion results are created in the app’s temporary storage. Previous working files are cleaned up when you choose another photo or return home. On Android, a temporary sharing copy may remain until the next app start so the receiving app can read it. Previous cache files are cleaned up when the app restarts. The operating system may also remove cached files. Save or share any result you want to keep.
Saving adds the converted result to your photo library as a new file. It does not overwrite or delete the original. Sharing uses the operating system’s share interface. If you choose email, cloud storage or another app, the result is sent to that destination under its privacy practices. It is not automatically uploaded to the Company.
Photo-library cloud synchronization, cloud downloads through a file picker and recompression by another app depend on those services and your settings. They are separate from Julpik’s on-device processing. Results saved to Photos or Files and copies held by external services are not deleted by temporary-file cleanup or uninstalling Julpik. Manage them at their storage location.
Uninstalling the app or deleting app data through the operating system affects device-local preferences and temporary data. Operating-system backup and device transfer features follow the provider’s settings and procedures. The Company does not provide server photo backups or account synchronization.
3. Advertising and privacy choices
Julpik uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display Google AdMob banners below the result screen. Viewing or clicking an ad is not required to convert or save a photo.
The advertising service may use IP addresses and approximate location derived from them, ad impressions and responses, app interactions, diagnostics, performance information and app/device-related identifiers for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. The Company does not attach photo content, file names, converted results or target sizes to ad requests.
The app requests non-personalized ads. On iOS, it checks Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system permission before loading Google UMP or the advertising SDK or requesting ads. With permission, Google advertising services may process device and advertising information to deliver ads and measure their effectiveness. If permission is denied, restricted or unavailable, no ads are requested and the app’s core features remain available. Permission is checked again when returning from system settings. The Android AD_ID permission is removed. Android 13 and later restrict advertising-ID access without this permission; on Android 12L and earlier, advertising-ID processing may depend on operating-system and Google services settings. Non-personalized advertising does not eliminate all advertising SDK data processing after authorization.
Depending on your region and applicable requirements, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may show a privacy choice form. Where applicable, the advertising privacy entry in Settings lets you review or change your choices. The app does not request ads when ad requests are not permitted. Photo features remain available.
The advertising SDK sends related information from your device to Google services, and it may be processed outside your country. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services for processing and deletion practices. Deleting photos or the app does not delete advertising information already transmitted.
4. Support and external pages
If you contact dev@ibrdos.com, the Company uses your sender email address, message, voluntarily attached files and correspondence to review and respond to your inquiry. Photos and converted results are not automatically attached to support messages. Include only relevant information and do not send identity documents, passwords, payment details or other sensitive materials.
The Company deletes inquiry information when the support purpose is complete. Information subject to a legal retention obligation is retained as required by that obligation. You may request access to or deletion of support information at the address above. Uninstalling the app does not delete emails already sent.
Privacy and support documents can be read inside the app. When you open an external link, visit the website or send an email, the relevant website, browser or email provider’s terms apply to those communications. The external storage and sharing services you choose are also subject to their providers’ communications and privacy practices.
5. Permissions and safeguards
Photo and file selection access the item you choose in the system picker. Saving a result to the photo library may request permission to add photos, depending on your operating system. If you decline that permission, conversion and system sharing remain available. The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts or GPS location permissions. An advertising service’s approximate location inference from an IP address is separate from GPS permission.
The app checks input file size and pixel dimensions and performs conversion on the device. It does not modify the original and checks the actual byte count of a result before offering it for saving or sharing. The Company limits access to support information it receives to people who need it for the support purpose. Device locks and photo, file and sharing access settings help protect your saved materials.
6. Your rights
Contact dev@ibrdos.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent or other rights provided by applicable law for information held by the Company. A legal guardian or authorized representative may also submit a request. The Company uses the minimum information needed to verify and respond through the applicable procedures. For device-local photos the Company does not hold, it can explain how to manage them at your storage location.

7. Children and policy changes
Julpik is not designed or marketed primarily for children. A guardian who believes a child has sent personal information to the Company may contact the address above for deletion or assistance.
Changes to processing practices and their effective date will be communicated in the app or on an information page. A separate consent process applies where required by law.
