Privacy policy

IBRDOS Inc. ((주)아이비알도스, the “Company”) handles information in Sseulon as described below. Contact dev@ibrdos.com for privacy or support inquiries.

1. Information stored on your device

Sseulon stores the budget periods, currencies, starting amounts, expense dates, amounts, categories and notes you enter, along with planned expense dates, titles, amounts and their links to recorded expenses. It uses these records to calculate period balances and daily spending amounts. Language and appearance settings are also stored locally. Dates follow your device’s local calendar date.

The Company does not collect your budgets, expenses or notes on a server or attach them to advertising requests. The app has no registration, Company server synchronization, independent usage analytics or crash reporting, or connection to bank, card or investment accounts. It does not import transactions, text messages, contacts or location data. Recording a planned expense as paid changes an app record; it does not make a payment or transfer money.

2. Backups and sharing you choose

A JSON backup includes all budget periods, expenses, planned expenses, notes, language and appearance settings. Backups are plain text without a separate password or encryption applied by the app. Restore checks the file’s format, contents and size and replaces all current app data after confirmation. It does not merge records.

The operating system’s sharing interface sends files to the app, file location or service you select. Restore reads the file you select in the system file picker. Copies sent to external services and cloud downloads initiated through the file picker are subject to those services’ terms. Backup and shared contents are not automatically sent to the Company.

The app may use temporary on-device copies while creating or reading files. Cache is not permanent storage and may be removed by the operating system. Original backups and shared copies you save elsewhere remain in their selected locations.

3. Retention and deletion

Records remain on your device until you delete them or replace or remove the app’s current data. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data affects locally stored records. Deleting records in the app does not delete exported JSON files, emails or copies held by other services.

The app disables operating-system automatic backup on Android. On iOS, app data may be included in system backups or device transfers according to your device and operating-system settings. This is not an automatic iCloud synchronization feature provided by Sseulon; Apple’s settings and terms apply. The Company provides no server backup or account-based recovery.

4. Advertising and privacy choices

Sseulon displays banner advertising through Google AdMob’s Google Mobile Ads SDK. You do not have to view or tap an ad to use the budgeting features.

Advertising services may use IP addresses and approximate location derived from them, ad impressions and responses, app interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and app- or device-related identifiers for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Budget amounts, expenses, planned expenses, titles, notes and backup contents are not included in advertising requests.

The app requests non-personalized ads. On iOS, it checks Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system permission before loading Google UMP or the advertising SDK or requesting ads. With permission, Google advertising services may process device and advertising information to deliver ads and measure their effectiveness. If permission is denied, restricted or unavailable, no ads are requested and the app’s core features remain available. Permission is checked again when returning from system settings. The Android AD_ID permission is removed. Android 13 and later restrict advertising-ID access without this permission; on Android 12L and earlier, advertising-ID processing may depend on operating-system and Google services settings. Non-personalized advertising does not eliminate all advertising SDK data processing after authorization.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) privacy choices are shown where applicable. UMP processes device and regional information and privacy-choice interactions to provide these forms and manage your choices. When available, you can review or change them through advertising privacy in Settings. If ad requests are not permitted, the app does not request ads, and budgeting remains available.

The advertising SDK sends relevant information to Google services, and it may be processed outside your country. See the Google Privacy Policy and information about apps using Google services for handling and deletion details. Uninstalling the app does not delete advertising data already transmitted.

5. Support and external links

If you email dev@ibrdos.com, the Company uses your sender email address, message, attachments you choose to provide and replies to handle the inquiry. Budget records and backups are not attached automatically. You can use fictional examples instead of actual financial information. Inquiry information is deleted when its purpose is completed, except where applicable law requires retention.

You can read policies and support documents within the app. Opening an external link, visiting a website or sending email may involve communication through the relevant website, browser or email service, whose terms apply.

6. Protection and your rights

The app validates formats, amounts, dates, text lengths and record relationships before saving or restoring data. Access to inquiry information received directly by the Company is limited to the scope needed for work. Device locks and access settings for backups and sharing destinations can help protect your records.

You may contact dev@ibrdos.com to exercise applicable rights, including access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and withdrawal of consent for personal information held by the Company. Authorized representatives may also submit requests. The Company checks only the information needed to verify the request and responds under applicable law. For budgets that the Company does not hold, we explain how to manage them in the app or your storage location.

In Korea, you can also contact the Privacy Infringement Report Center or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee. Sseulon is not designed or promoted primarily for children. A guardian who believes a child’s personal information has been sent to the Company can request deletion or other applicable action.

7. Changes

Changes to information handling and their effective dates are announced in the app or on its information pages. We obtain additional consent where required by law.
