Chaengru

Privacy policy

Effective date: September 19, 2026

IBRDOS Co., Ltd. ((주)아이비알도스, the “Company”) explains how information is handled by Chaengru. Contact dev@ibrdos.com for privacy questions and rights requests.

1. Checklists stay on your device

Chaengru helps you create reusable packing checklists and check off the items you have packed. It has no account creation or sign-in. Lists and items are not sent to an application server operated by the Company. The Company cannot remotely view or recover your device-local checklists.

The app stores list names, icon types, list creation and modification timestamps, item names, checked states and internal identifiers to manage checklists and reset checked states. Language and appearance preferences are stored on the device to preserve your choices. You do not need to include your real name, contact details or other personal information in names.

2. Backup and deletion

Settings lets you export lists and items as a JSON file or restore them from a file. A backup contains list names, icon types, list creation and modification timestamps, item names, checked states, internal identifiers, the export timestamp, and language and appearance preferences. Backup files are plain text and are not encrypted by the app. Manage access to shared devices and the location where you save a file.

Export uses your operating system’s file sharing interface. If you choose a cloud storage, email or other external service, the backup is sent to that service under its privacy practices. It is not automatically uploaded to the Company. Restore reads the file you select and, after confirmation, replaces all lists, items, language and appearance preferences on this device with the backup contents.

You can delete individual items or lists, or delete all lists in Settings. Deleting a list also deletes its items and checked states. Delete all lists removes lists and items and preserves language and appearance preferences. Immediately after deletion, Undo can restore the previous state once within 8 seconds, before the next save. Exported files and copies held by external services are not deleted by the app; manage them separately at their storage location.

Uninstalling the app, deleting app data through the operating system or changing devices may affect device-local data. Operating-system backup and restore features may process app data under the provider’s settings and procedures. Chaengru does not provide account-based synchronization or recovery copies on a Company server.

3. Advertising and privacy choices

Chaengru displays Google AdMob banners below the list-selection and item-checking screens using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Watching an ad or consenting to optional advertising processing is not required to use the checklist features.

The advertising service may use IP addresses and approximate location derived from them, ad impressions and responses, app interactions, diagnostics, performance information and app/device-related identifiers for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. The Company does not attach list and item names, checked states or backup contents to ad requests.

The app requests non-personalized ads. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system permission is requested before loading the advertising SDK or UMP. If you allow tracking, device identifiers may be used for advertising and measurement, and applicable regional UMP privacy choices are checked separately. If ATT is not authorized or its status cannot be checked, the advertising SDK is not initialized and ads are not requested. If you revoke permission in Settings, ad display stops when you return to the app. Core app features remain available regardless of this choice. The Android app removes advertising-ID permissions to restrict access on Android 13 and later. On Android 7–12L this permission removal alone does not block advertising-ID access; processing depends on device and Google Play services settings. Non-personalized requests do not eliminate all SDK information processing.

Depending on your region and applicable requirements, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may show a privacy choice form. Where applicable, the advertising privacy entry in Settings lets you review or change your choices. The app does not request ads when ad requests are not permitted. Checklist features remain available.

The advertising SDK sends related information from your device to Google services, and it may be processed outside your country. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services for processing and deletion practices. Deleting app checklists does not delete advertising information already transmitted.

4. Support and external pages

If you contact dev@ibrdos.com, the Company uses your sender email address, message, voluntarily attached files and correspondence to review and respond to your inquiry. Send only information relevant to your request. Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment details or other sensitive information. App checklists and backup files are not automatically attached to support messages.

The Company deletes inquiry information when the support purpose is complete. Information subject to a legal retention obligation is retained as required by that obligation. You may request access to or deletion of support information at the address above. Uninstalling the app or clearing its checklists does not delete emails already sent.

Privacy and support documents can be read inside the app. When you open an external link, visit the website or send an email, the relevant website, browser or email provider’s terms apply to those communications. The external storage and sharing services you choose are also subject to their providers’ communications and privacy practices.

5. Permissions and safeguards

The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photo-library or GPS location permissions. Backup restore accesses the file you choose through the system file picker. An advertising service’s approximate location inference from an IP address is separate from GPS permission.

The app uses device-local storage and system file selection and sharing features, and validates the format and size of imported data. The Company limits access to support information it receives to those who need it for the support purpose. Use device locks and file-access settings to protect your checklists and exported backups.

6. Your rights

Contact dev@ibrdos.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent or other rights provided by applicable law for information held by the Company. A legal guardian or authorized representative may also submit a request. The Company uses the minimum information needed to verify and respond through the applicable procedures. For device-local checklists the Company does not hold, it can explain how to view or delete them in the app.

For privacy assistance in Korea, contact the KISA Privacy Infringement Report Center or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.

7. Children and policy changes

Chaengru is not designed or marketed primarily for children. A guardian who believes a child has sent personal information to the Company may contact the address above for deletion or assistance.

Changes to processing practices and their effective date will be communicated in the app or on an information page. A separate consent process applies where required by law.
